You’ve been searching all day long for the perfect pop song and all of a sudden you find it here: Outdoor Miner. Flip flip. Practice Makes Perfect. Just as amazing but in a weird, dark and haunting way. All hail Wire.

PS
This is the not so rare Bolivian tape sleeve variation.

The perfect pop song indeed, almost too much so…the B-side is a rager. I like a band that has that much variety in their sound.

    Yes!
I predict big things for these lads.

  3. Chano says:

Wire are still awesome. I never get tired of them. Both songs are definitely faithful to their high quality standards, but i like the angular b-side just a tad more. Thanx!

    • The Flakes // Drummer says:

Wire are still great to this day. One of the few of the old rooster that I would love to see live.

  4. The opening lines to Outdoor Minor blow me away. I laughed at myself when I realized I was jamming to a song about a baby! Ha, perfect melody….
