Maybe you’re old enough to have read George Tabbs columns in MRR? He did some of the best columns in my opinion. He also played in Roach Motel and False Prophets among others and still do this day continue to not make an ass out of himself on stage like so many oldsters. He was/is also a victim during 9/11 which you can read about here:
http://www.verbicidemagazine.com/2012/07/17/george-tabb-interview/. Roach Motel seems still very underrated? When it comes to great HC records this is seldom mentioned? Or maybe I’m wrong here. Anyway there’s not a single bad track on this EP.

never heard this, but remember seeing it around…pretty generic for the time i gotta say. Interview is great though!
Pretty decent hardcore with the requisite attitude. By the way, he’s still writing a column for MRR. Mykel Board got the boot, though.
Back then it was underrated probably because of the lyrics to “Wetback”. I mean: i’m sure it’s supposed to be ironic, but the lampooning intent doesn’t come out too clearly. However, this EP isn’t bad. “I Hate…” is a classic graced by some of the most venomously hilarious lyrics ever and the other tracks are ok (especially “Now You’re Gonna Die” and the aforementioned “Wetback”). High quality rips as usual. Thanx!
The lyrics to Wetback weren’t ironic at all. Some band member (i won’t say who) said it was really done to piss people off. They were not trying to pass a message, it was just the good old punk shock thing going on. That song was later avoided on the collection CD and LP.
I like this one and I don’t think it’s generic. Sure it’s not way over the top and breaking any new ground, but it’s stand up punk done the right way. And the guitar solos are hilarious! Super thin and way louder than everything else, or if they turn everything else down during the solos. Sounds pretty Californian to me over all.
Yeah, i got the “Worstest Hits” CD 15 years ago and i noticed the absence of “Wetback”, that’s why i assumed that it was the reason why this band was kind of underrated.
