Finally a cover band posted here! And finally a cover band that makes both the Stranglers’ and the Who’s classic songs sound fey! And finally a cover band made up by service men from the Royal Air Force!

Dizzy’s got the complete story of these tough looking guys, and I love him for it! And I love this record as it’s even more whimpy than I am!

Uhm… I think it’s kinda pointless to record covers so similar to the originals. Well, at least it’s enjoyable. Cheers! :-)

Of course it’s pointless, especially punk cover as punk have an idea of not having any “stars” and do your own thing etc etc yada yada. However I still think it’s interesting that a band with more or less some punk connections choose to record & release cover songs. I can’t really see why any band who just play covers want to release their take on other bands songs, but I’ve made an exception for a few bands, and especially for the Low Profyle as I really like their versions as they take on very “masculine” bands and make them sound wimpy. For me, I think this is a great 7″, but if they would’ve done a full album with just covers it would most likely be a total stinker.

I didn’t expect it to go down with a bang, but it’s still a bit surprising that so few seems to even care to comment here or on fb.
