Two weeks ago I did an interview for Village Voice. Flashy ehhh. It was published yeasterday. What puzzles me is how the hell Tod from 7inchpunk.com manage to sell a copy of the Urban Waste 7″ for $450. Poor bastard when he’ll find out he could saved a couple of hundred bucks. Well as you know by now I’m not a reviewer. I tend to repeat myself. And my english grammar fails me from time to time. Not to mention the spelling. But there’s some people out there who’s really good at it and the guys at Razorcake is on the top of my list.
Todd not only gave my band The Flakes a kick ass review he was also nice enough to send me the latest issue of Razorcake since he saw on here that I dig Regulations. If you haven’t heard of or read Razorcake you’re really missing out on something. It’s the follow up to Flipside that you should’ve heard about since it was one of the first and longest running zines in the States.
While I do like MRR I’ve always favoured the more laid back attitude of Flipside. And Razorcake continues that tradtition. Couple that with well written articles, reviews and a big does of great humour you’ve got a winner. Get your copy today!

So cause of my little rant here I got a sweet sugery email from Mike Rush(Adama Wilson, septicnecro, inkntunes), all written in capital cause he happens to have his Caps Lock turned on all the time:”YOU FUCKING ASSHOLE! YOU GOT AKA CRASH BANNED FROM EBAY! YOU FUCKING PUSSY! YOU AIN’T SHIT! YOU BETTER NOT EVER PLAY IN L.A. CUZ YOU GOT A LOT OF PEOPLE PISSED OFF IN CALI! YOU’RE FUCKING WITH THE WRONG PERSON! YOU DON’T WHO I AM AND WHO I RUN WITH!“.
Yepp I guess ALOT of people in California are pissed at me: Guy Robert Archambue and Mike Rush. Mike Rush also happens to be a Radio DJ and Zero Boys and NOTA will be his guests. Shall I laugh or shall I cry? Geee I feel sorry for the little thing. Hugsh and kisses to you Mike.
So what a suprise that just a couple of weeks later after the Special Forces post over here eBay user “akacrash” have it up for sale as a CDR boot: Special Forces at eBay. If you’re at eBay please do us all a favout and report these users: “septicnecro” and “akacrash”. All they do is taking advantage of people not knowing this stuff is available on the net.
I’ve gotten some cute emails from “NiteOwl” aka “septicnecro” at eBay and at the How’s Your Edge trading board known as Adam Wilson. You shall read what he’s writing about me on the trading page ha ha:”Hey Peter Swendenhammar since you won’t answer my e-mails, I just want to let you know that if you ever plan to tour the states and you happen to play in L.A., expect to see me there. You don’t really know who I am and especially my history within the L.A. punk scene of ‘81-Present. I bet Sweden is a nice place to hide out! You’re an untrustworthy dirtbag!“.

You HAVE to check out Erichs post of the Not So Humdrum compilation. Tracks with The Rocks, Suicide Squad, Vigil-Ante and more. And while you’re there to download your free lunch take a look around for some other great posts there. Among the highlights you’ll find a rant about The Monks, brazil punk, a great german punk band from 1980 called the KFC and more. Erich got a nice and personal style of writing and I’m glad to know that he probably piss off a person or two that don’t have the slightest sence of humour. And he was in one of those old super fast roaring shit bands Fear Of iPod(read his “Fuck The Kids” rant) or something:
“Early on Exene asked us “why do you guys have to play so fast?” I don’t think anybody knew what to make of us, 20 songs in 20 minutes, we didn’t look the part either but some people found that even more disturbing. Middle Class wasn’t blues, rock, or pop based. There wasn’t any reference for fans of “rock and roll” to latch on to. You either liked it or you didn’t. Some responded well, some just ignored us.”

As some of you people might remember I started up the Killed By Death Radio station in October 2004. It was hosted at my Laptop at home. I was able to air to about 15 people at the same time but that was it.
The old adress: kbd.the-flakes.com is now obsolete. Click the Killed By Death Radio banner on the left menue and you’re able to listen to all the tracks posted here(almost). Prefered chooice is to use the Flash player since it gives you a list of the songs and you can click around. The radio is powered by Hypemachine. Enjoy!
I just want to show you all the silly behaviour of Guy Robert Archambue aka Rob Noxious(presented himslef as Kevin to me) and known as lewdsnot and zoloft_anaconda at eBay. I blocked him as a bidder on my recent auctions cause as lewdsnot he’s only purpose is to keep the prices up.
