This is a re-post from April the 12th 2006. Added more scans, new rips and For var frihet.

Another great record from a not-so-well known swedish band. Can this be described as ”drumplaying in a discharge-style with desperate vocals”? This is the only record made by this band and I love it so much…

Country: Sweden
Year: 1980

This is soooo good, I really love the drums. Weirdest d-beat I’ve ever heard… it kinda makes me seasick.
Could you please post the A-side as well.

  2. The Flakes // Drummer Says:

I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of this masterpiece. I think I’ve heard it a couple of times each week for over a year now and I still can’t get enough.

well well well…my name is jim johanson and that is my pretty face on the cover…the year was 1980 and i was 17 y/o…the other bandmembers were anders on guitarr, peter on drums and butte on bass.. we rehearsed in a garage (where else) and this was our only record. i think we printed 1000 copies of wich i still had a couple hundred when i moved to the united states in -93.. i got booted from the band in -81 for hitting butte the baseplayer with my studded leather belt during a live concert - guy couldnt follow the drums to save his life… rock on and live hard!
