Another long time fave that I was certain had appeard as a 7″ in the early 80’s. Suprise suprise when I found out that “Modern Machine” had only appeared on the “Beach Blvd” comp. LP BUT Posh Boy had released a 7″ in the early 90’s containing two tracks from the comp. The Crowd is still active and you can check them out at: www.thecrowd.com. Haven’t heard another track from them that can match “Modern Machine” though.

Thanks for the info Theo!
a killer song,my alltime faver song from the crowd are “right time” cheers from switzerland, urs
…Also appeared on “Best of Rodney on the Roq” and “Beach Blvd.” along with my personal Crowd favorite “New Crew”…if you haven’t heard this ripper, you’re really missing out!
The only single that came out in the late 70’s/early 80’s with a paper (as opposed to board) sleeve was PBS 3, the Simpletones California b/w I Like Drugs single. In the 90’s we could only afford to do black and white paper sleeves for the re-issues. If you have a paper sleeve for Social D. or Agent Orange, it’s a German facsimile from the late 80’s.

We are currently finishing tracking for our recordand soon want our music to get out there more. What does getting featured here entail?
That whole paragraph sounded lame.
-Sid
All the bands being featured here are lame that’s why.
Please upload the b side to this single!
