The 7inch version of “No Talk…” was a big dissapointment when I first heard it since I’ve read that it should be such a classic. They should’ve used this rehearsel version instead from 1978.

I never liked The Hates. My favorite TX punk record is the Bobby Soxx 7″.

i don’t think it’s any better than the one on the 7″.
The Hates sucked. They sucked when I saw and listened to them back then and they suck even more today. I never knew why people thought they were so great. Wanna be English punks. Houston’s Really Red was a far better band, probably one of the more underrated bands from Texas. There were at least 20 other bands that were better than the Hates. Absolute Dogshit
