If you haven’t read “We Got The Neutron Bomb” yet you have too! All these crazy storys about Black Randy is priceless. One of his party tricks was to take a dump in the girls purses. When they went into the toilet there sometimes where some of them screaming as they where combing their hair(taken from the purse of course) and seconds later found out they’ve got pooped. The Metro Squad included K.K. from The Screamers and John Doe from X among others. Easilly an underrated artist among the Dangerhouse bands. Highlight: Loner With A Boner

Great pick!!!! Love it. Is there any chance of posting his album? I would love to just hear it once. Great site by the way!
hey, i second that about the book, ‘we got the neutron bomb’ – that thing is a classic !
also great is ‘lexicon devil’, written in part by don bolles. i picked up a germs dvd the other day called ‘germs – media blitz – the germs story’ with a longish rant by don bolles.
don, if you’re reading this – no more mind-expanding drugs for you, buddy. whoa, you’re out there ! but i would love to hear some of your freaky radio shows.
the germs STILL RULE EVERYTHING ELSE
and i forgot – thanks for this post !
trouble at the cup! !!!
Yeah “Lexicon Devil” is a great book too. Ok I’ll brag here: my copy is signed by Don and Pat. They singed 100 copies. Got hold of that copy from the author who told me some sad stories about Don.
Hey I got the LP posted at Last Days of Man on Earth if interested. Black Randy has always been one of my personal favorites.
Looking at the cover of this record I just realized that if(somehow) Black Randy were to have walked into an interdimensional rip and been transported to the present day “punk scene” he would alienate all the hardcore kids (and hardcore middle aged dullards) who populate it.
Could you imagine what kind of reaction the folks who go to Burning Man would have towards Randy’s race baiting?
…and on the subject of Don Bolles, did anyone read the interview he did on Mark Prindle’s site where he talks about the Germs fascination with Fascism?
I don’t think the Germs would be welcomed with open arms if they were new today ether…
Anti-Fa and Anti-Racist-Action would be spitting and hollering like tabby cats all wigged out on pepperment Shnaps…
Great record.
your a little late
are you high on meth?
I have visited LA a number of times, and as much as it’s bad to cycle around, such bourgie concerns don’t matter: Mexicans make good food, it’s too sprawling to be tamed (like Darby Crash), and Hollywood seems less changed than, say, the NY’s Lower East Side (naturally when Geffen-recording artists start championing Branca/Grey/Gavanti/whatever as underground commodities, the financial class is soon to follow). In other words, in between the cracks, I could see misfits recording something as awesome as this 7″. Yes, I suffer utopianism. Consistent with my other posts, long live Watts! I hate my parents more than they hate me!
