“We’ve got our own individual style. Most punk bands are the same as the Ramones… its pathetic. ..“. None of my neighbourhood friends were into punk except Ramones. I hated Ramones because of that. Nowadays Ramones and I get along pretty well. The Users and I get along very well too. Two great 7inches this beeing their second and recorded in the mythich Spaceward Studio. Read about The Users story at the amazing Punk 77! Punk Rock in the UK.

The Users are fucking great. Best UK punk band.
fuck the Ramones…even when i was like 13 years old & just getting into punk & HC, i thought the Ramones FUCKING SUCKED!!! i still think they suck TODAY!! i think this GREAT users 45 sounds more like the almighty SAINTS, but is still unique & GREAT!!! one of the best ever!!!
I do believe this was their last single…i would love to hear the debut mind. I’m from Cambridge and i love this band a lot…even John Peel did and had their 7″ in his little collection.
YA CAN’T SAY THE RAMONES SUCK YA DOUSCHEBAGS THE RAMONES KICK ASS THE USERS ARE FUCKIN’ GREAT TOO BUT IT’S STUPID TO SAY THAT YA LIKE 77 PUNK ROCK AND YA DON’T LIKE THE RAMONES, WHY DO PEOPLE HATE THE ONES THAT DIDN’T COPY THEIR STYLE TO OTHER BANDS INSTEAD OF THE ONES THAT DID, IT IS PATHETIC THAT BANDS DO THAT BUT THE RAMONES DIDN’T SO YOU ARE PATHETIC
IT WAS THE USERS WHO SAID THAT! LEARN TO READ AND KEEP YOUR CAPS LOCK ON!
I KNOW IT WAS THE USERS WHO SAID THAT DUMASS BUT ALL YA STUPID FUCKS SAY IT TOO JUST CUZ YA WANNA BE ¨ORIGINAL¨ AND HAVE YOUR OWN STYLE LIKE THE USERS… ALTHOUGH THAT’S NOT PRETTY ORIGINAL JUST LIKE THEY SAID IT’S PATHETIC
Do we all say that? I think you’re jumping to conclusion you know nothing about :).
long time ago guys.
Chris Free and Phil Birkhill (singer and lead guiter) were good mates of mine. I remember losing my copy of Raw Power to Phil in a card game. But where are you now?

Although not as allmighty as “Sick of You” it is still a kick ass single nonetheless
Anyone heard the version of “Sick Of You” by Atari Teenage Riot called “Sick to Death”? Starts with the first 2 seconds of The Nuns ‘Decadent Jew’ (you know: feedback….1234!) then jumps to the intro of “Sick of you” and blasts open with gabberhardcorebeats and agitprop lyrics (i wanna fuck the system). Pretty cool rendition of this classic
Yes I have to agree.I have heard it and was impressed.I have alot of respect for Alec Empire and check out the Punk Years on You Tube because there is some cool interview footage with him as well as some cool interview footage with many other notables such as Jimmy Pursey,Lemmy,Mensi,Jake Burns and too many others to mention
