It’s punkypowerpop time. What could be better then some killer stuff from Irealand. And behind the engineer nobs we find no other then the druid Clive Culbertson if that’s not a gurantee for quality I don’t know what is.
The singer(who ever his name is) balance on a thin line when it comes to hit the right notes here and there but it works. Suzy Lie Down is saved by a great chorus and nice synthetic drums right out of the 80s but is a bit too long.
Country: Irealand
Year: 1979
Label: Rip Off
Format: 7″
Songs:
She Dosen’t Love Me.mp3
Suzy Lie Down.mp3
This is so powerless – I feel asleep after 15 seconds. Bad bad music!
If anybody needs that first Clive Culbertson 7″ (with sleeve), I have it for sale.
May I propose a new label? Tranquillizer Pop. That suits fine!
Ha ha one word: Wixen!
Wixen is love with jemand ich liebe.
Nu pratar du en massa skit :)!
Suzy lie down is the winner here. Still a good single anyway.
Oh and I’ll buy that first Clive Culbertson single.
You may contact me, Robert, if you’re interested in that 7″. If I don’t sell it by the end of october, it’s going on eBay.
