The only thing I have to tell you is that this is one of the best early punk rock 7inches ever released. Desperate, loud, obnoxious, original, outstanding and fucked up. Yeah that pretty much sums it up.

Thanks to Ryan Richardson this one saw the light as he re-issued this super hard to get gem with the intended sleeve along with a lyric sheet and story about the Spys. For all things Spys go here: Rock Bottom And The Spys.

Hey, wait a minute! Mine is a plain white sleeve- no cover AND no lyric sheet. I got screwed. This sure does rock though.

  3. jawhn says:

Mine didn’t come with a sleeve either but it did come with the lyric sheet (flip of which, states only 200 of the 500 had the color sleeve but also provides a web link where you can print your own high res version.. punk rock.)

  4. dylan says:

i totally agree with you peter, this is one of the best. thanks one more time, ryan!

  5. Boulder says:

Why aren’t there more bands like this?

What sucked with punk is that all the bands started sounding the same…these guys have their own cool sound.

Funny that the name ‘Electro Punk’ is now popular in these house music rave techno circles..they don’t know what REAL electro punk is – it’s Rock Bottom and the mighty CHROME.

  6. Degenerateen says:

Classic So. Cal. punk. They put their best songs on that 7″. I do love the un-used track ‘Determination’ though.

  7. Roberto says:

I know i’m too late, but the guitarist was wiyh Zolar X and the drummer…didn’t play with the Dickies in80/90’s?
