The first set up of Kriminella Gitarrer formed in September 1977 and disbanded in July 1978. During this time they recorded two classic 7inches: Vardad kladsel and Silvias unge. It’s raw. It’s primitive. It’s sloppy. It’s fantastic! Scanned the lyrics for the swedes so they know how great punk lyrics are written.

If you like this you gotta check out the Final Solutions covers on “Return to The Motherland EP” that really kicks ass!!!

  3. Tony says:

What a mindblowing record. After all these years it still sounds great to my ears every time I listen to it. “Vardad Kladsel” is probably my favorite Swedish punk song… right up there with “Absolute Ruler” by the Rude Kids, etc.

  4. ? says:

Yet another good 7 inch with so few responses. This is familiar from Bloodstains Across Sweden.

  5. ? says:

Shit. It was the other Kriminella Gitarrer 7 inch that had the song Sylvias Unge that was on Bloodstains Across Sweden.

  6. Martin says:

peter, is this a home made lyric sheet?

  7. The Flakes // Drummer says:

Yepp it’s a home made lyric sheet done by Packe :).

  8. Zeroxed from Noncha Allt fanzine, right?

    • Packe says:

I can´t remember which fanzine I took it from but it´s not Xeroxed…It´s selfmade on my mother´s old typewriter in the mid 80´s and then maybe Xeroxed – RARE AS HELL! – there´s only 1 made…(you stupid recordcollectors) :)

  9. The Flakes // Drummer says:

That’s a question for Packe cause that I don’t know.

  10. Nathan G says:

Why does this record sound better here than on the back to front comp?

  11. The Flakes // Drummer says:

Probably cause I ripped it directly from my copy without altering the sound.

  12. Nathan.G says:

I can’t believe that this stupendous bucket of noise has only 13 comments, while a totally mediocre band – Skrewdriver – get all the attention in the world. Skrewdriver only made one great song and they ruined that 7″ by shitting on it with a straight stones cover. Even the US 60s garage bands knew how to deal with rolling stone scum: steal their riffs and drum fills (that they robbed from black people), change the lyrics and completely mangle it all into oblivion.

  13. Nathan.G says:

Holy shit! I was just on Behjan’s old site (R.I.P. champion), and I saw his review of this record and in it he mentions a KG reissue LP with unreleased tracks and demos! Anyone got it? Does it shred?

  14. Stig Dangerman says:

I don’t yet know the superior language, but I always sing this as “vardad kladsel coming from my ear!”

I try to repress my tongue-and-cheek homophobia, I really do(!), but who is fudge Packe(r)?

Hey if anyone wants to hear some early demos from these geniuses just click on this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c_qrYNAUwr8
