It’s been almost 9 months since we last posted a band from Gothenburg here, and that is way too long as the city had a great punk scene with tons of bands, including these cute boys. Knugen’s Haf was actually a very fast and uncompromising band from the start, which is a bit hard to believe after hearing these poppy numbers. Apparently a part of their uncompromising attitude was to not release a record when all the other bands in the Gothenburg area did so, and as a result of that their musical style was a bit softer once they hit the studio.
When the band got the record they thought the cover turned out so horrible that they folded them so that the collage from the inside became the cover instead and sold them that way. As they were quite famous for getting into fights all the time I’m sure they had a great fight over who fucked up the art work.

GÖTT med lite punk från framstjärten av Sverige!
Tyckte du att dom var poppiga pÃ¥ denna singeln sÃ¥ är det väl inget mot lÃ¥tarna som kom med pÃ¥ GBG Punk-skivorna? Nu var Knugens HÃ¥f ett band som kom undan med allt vare sej det gällde reggae, ska eller pop, jag gillade det som faen. SÃ¥g dom ett antal gÃ¥nger pÃ¥ Sprängkullen och dom levererade jämt. Dom lirade även schyssta och otippade covers lajv som t.ex Gasolin’s “Strengelegen”. Att dom mesiga jävlarna hade rykte om att vara hÃ¥rdingar tror jag inte pÃ¥ dock, dom kanske bara slogs med varandra? Nu var mitt blödiga hjärta även orsak till att jag var ett stort fan av Viking’s, och senare även Yogi’s, senare projekt Abcess Exil. Men det är ju awkward eller…? I mitt tycke fanns det fÃ¥ sÃ¥ eminenta sÃ¥ngare som GÃ¥rdÃ¥n aka Viking. Punkt slut.
Apropå Götet föresten, skulle det inte sitta som en stekt sillbit på en knäckemacka med en TT Garderob 100-post? Den äger ju mest fett i hela jaevla punkSvedala!

I was just about to ask if anyone knows how plenty the bell is.
I waited for this one.Ever since I got it on tape it was one of the country´s fave to me.Looking at em you would not believe they were soo violent.And what does that GARAGELIGAN means that bands like GLO and GBG SOUND had always somewhere on their sleeves written? And btw,when is the time someone postes the B-side of the VENERIAS 7″? Oh,I understand you only take stuff you have in your own collection,so with apparently only 4x copies of it in existence,we will possibly never hear it.
I think this is decent at best. One of the not so good GBG singles. Sorry.

it would be OK with a post of TT Closet 100 but Pjotr is the one who decides when it will be posted. I got the permission to post some Perverts and some more GBG Sound at least so there will be more from Svidens front ass during the wait for the Closet.
Behjan, Garageligan was an organization of bands in Gothenburg that put up shows together and tried to help each other get shows etc. Most of the early punk bands in Götlaborg was a part of it, so that’s why so many bands have the name stamped on their records.
It’s a shame that this band didn’t record/release some gear when they were in their early days because rawness counts for a lot. Sexkomplex is a neat little tune for the pop punk fans.
