Oh, the Gouda cheese thick accent on this record is just too much fun to not post, even if it’s been featured on various mp3 blogs and comps since this whole kbd punk madness started.

The boys were jolly glad that Elvis was dead, and as Wally had his dad as his pusher and pimp when he played the bunk I’m quite sure they managed to upset quite a few people when this record was released. Of course not by the lyrics content, but by the intense piano hammering, which is almost more than I can stand to be honest. Before Wally starts to sing in the homage to Elvis it sounds like it could be a Madness song, but thankfully his voice is totally great and the song is almost as good as the a-side.

I saw rumors somewhere on the “internet” that the only shop that sold this record back in the days was the No Fun shop in Amsterdam, which reminds me that I have the Oneway Subway 7″ in the posting que, so maybe it’s time to rip and scan that jewel as well.

  1. Greatest 7″ ever. Seriously.

  2. Martin says:

Damn it Martin, this time you did more grammar misteaks than you normally do.

  3. The Flakes // Drummer says:

One of the best from Holland. Especially We’re so glad Elvis is dead. Can’t get it out of my head. Thanx Martin.

  4. Erich says:

Hmmm, I don’t know what it is, but I somehow never got into this 7″. The piano is extremely annoying and the vocals are so wimpy, maybe that’s why. I like the VOPO’s “We’re so glad the King is dead” better.

Here here!!! Erich and I are on the same page today!! This record sucks ass!! Next!! Jajajajajajajaja…no fy fan va bra.

    • Martin says:

I kind of agrre with you on the piano as it’s one of the few instruments I’m not too fond of, but as the songs are great I’ll put up with the piano.

  5. Martin says:

    Agree, not agrre. Damn it!

  6. The Flakes // Drummer says:

The piano is what makes this 7″ so damn great.

  7. b e h j a n says:

one of the coolest PunK-models on a picture-sleeve (together with
Trix-Z Sly (of THE NOTHING) and the guys of CARDIAC KIDZ) IMO !
The 7″ is cool too, especially their “W.A.S.G.E.I.D.” on the 2nd side.

  8. malfeitor says:

I just don’t know. The only Plurex record I ever had was Ze Popes which is much worse than this (I gave it away at a garage sale) but I still just don’t know…….

  9. Sissy Zweetsok says:

  10. Erich says:
