careful Jerry Only Don’t come a lookin for some money… The Gene Simmons of Punk..

  2. Stig Dangerman says:

The guitars sound great! but there’s an annoying poppy-ness, as bad as Naked Raygun.

And the ghoulishness is simply retarded.

  3. You can never listen to Misfits with out getting the feeling to take out a six pack of the fridge. It’s the party music of my youth…

  4. Chano says:

“Teenagers From Mars” is my fave song by Misfits. And… Well… Yeah, Doyle and especially Glenn Danzig are royal jerks judging from what i’ve heard. It doesn’t take away from the magnitude of their music, though. It’s Always the most unbearable assholes who make the greatest music, that’s a fact… :-) Thanks for this gem, good ole Pete!

  5. MAFFISH says:

Misfits. That’s all I have to say.

  6. Nice post- the first two Misfits EP’s never get old for me after all of these years, great stuff. Ugly Things zine had a wonderful history of the Misfits in an issue from either ’93 or ’94 with Jerry Only. This was before “Misfits Version 2” came along with the new singer and whatnot so Jerry Only still sounded pretty down-to-earth and was an interesting interview subject.
