Apparently Nancy Reagan were “…criticized early in his first term largely due to her decision to replace the White House china, despite its being paid for by private donations.”. So why not write a song about it? And what a song. Paul Taylor’s voice is superb and high in the mix. And listen to the drum sound. Especially the cymbals. Love it. The b-side is unfortunately forgettable and not up to the high standard of Nancy’s. Oh well.

I guess I spurred you to acquire this 7 inch tape! Cheers, Peter.
What a hit! Never heard before as far as I can remember, even if the band name is slightly familiar. A-side is superb, but the b-side is even worse than it’s title!
Isn’t this blog at a 10 year anniversary? :)
ALDO, thanks for the reminder :). Almost 10 years. 1 year left.
The A side is kinda weird; monotone yet catchy. It sounds like an early HC band trying to play Powerpop…. :-D B side is nondescript. Thanks!
Remember!
“Just Say No” to drugs!

I remembered hearing this song way back in the ’80’s.
Thinking about Nancy’s death this week made me go searching the web for the song.
