Time for the Buzzcocks again! No, wait! This ain’t the Buzzcocks, it’s just the Buzz! Well, I’m glad they’re as catchy as those bastards who stole the first part of these guys band name. Sick at heart, one hell of a song! It gets me buzzing all over! Sort of semi-sloppydruming, loud plunky bass, super catchy chorus, lots of sweet TVP sounding Ooooh’s, neat and simple guitar line and a great singer who’s got something to tell us all.
Him not me, not as direct perhaps, but a damn fine track with one foot in the magic DIY swamp and one is the classic sounding school of 77.
Insanity is a great track by all standards, and again with some fine singalong parts.
All in all this is one hell of a great debut. I still don’t have the band’s LP from 81, but someday I’ll have to pick it up although it’s not exactly in the same style.
This EP was reissued by Sing Sing a few years back by the way.

I have the LP, as awesome as the EP – Great music!!
JAHH
this was excellent and total off my radar thanks for tipping me on to this!
In my view the lp from 1981 has definitely a Powerpop-Post-Punk (wtf?) vibe – starts at the cover and ends at the music!
